Painting Demonstration                                              

    1. Determine light location and draw in rock shapes.                 6. Wash in a light mixture of yellow ochre

    2. Paint in wash using colors indicated                                       7. While wet add Cobalt Blue to upper part of sky

    3. when dry add ultramarine blue to shaded areas                      8. sponge out the cloud shapes

    4. spatter can be used on foreground rock .                         9. wait till dry and add the background mountains( U blue, burnt umber and purple)

    5. add cracks and lines in rock to symbolize plane changes
